How Tension Improves a Scene

In IMPROV, two sides of the same coin can equate to dynamic IMPROV! Even though the parts can be diametrically opposed, this tension can result in a good scene. A strong improvised scene even requires tension created by conflict. Conflict in improv does not necessarily lead to an argument unless someone gives in.
